These are Economic History lecture notes, possibly a lecturer's own notes. There are 6 notebooks within a slipcase. On the slipcase is written in pencil "Dr James Cunnison? Alec Macfie?" The identification of the author of these notes is not certain. There is one letter within volume 6 addressed to Dr Cunnison, but without a comparison of handwriting it has not possible to assign these notes to Dr Cunnison. References within the notes would indicate that they were written after 1924. ...

Helen L Frazer was born in Airdrie in 1919. She attended the University of Glasgow from 1936-1940 , taking classes in Natural Philosophy, Chemistry and Botany in her first year; Zoology, Mathematics and Double Botany in her second; Double Chemistry and Botany in her third, and Botany (Honours) in her fourth and final year. She was awarded first class certificates in Botany (Ordinary), Chemistry (Ordinary) and Natural Philosophy (Ordinary) in 1937 and a first class certificate in Botany in 1938. ...
